Unit 1: The Omega Financial Plan

This class provides an introduction and overview as to what The Plan encompasses. It challenges us to move beyond compartmentalization in our lives and to take a holistic approach that makes what we do Monday through Saturday, as well as on Sunday, part of our stewardship.  It calls for a way of living that enriches both giver and receiver financially and even more important, spiritually.

Please watch the Real Streaming Video for Class One or download the podcast.. Open the Adobe Acrobat file and read the articles for Class One.  Read Gary Moore’s two essays on Peter Drucker and the Christianity Today article entitled “God’s Housing Crisis”.

Written Exercise:  In the Abode Acrobat file, look at the questions for Class One.  Please think about all of them.  Then write brief answers for the following two: 3)  Why does the same $20 bill seem so large in the collection plate at church but so small at the cash register in the store? 6)  Were the Catholic bishops correct that fundraising can conceal the holistic nature of stewarding 100% of our time, talent, and treasure, as the Bible teaches? Then email your answers, making sure to include your name and contact infomation Email and Attach.
